Presenter & Voice Over

My career started in radio when I took to the airwaves for Hospital Radio Horton aged just 16. I presented a Sunday evening show at the station for two years before leaving for University.

At the same time, I worked as a newsroom runner at Fox FM in Oxford (now part of the Heart franchise), helping the journalists with the weekday evening news report, the award-winning Fox Report.

Since then, I have continued to host and present.

Radio Presenter

I returned to Hospital Radio Horton in 2010, where I presented a current affairs show called Horton In Focus, interviewing local NHS leaders and care in the community support. During my time back with the station I was fortunate to interview Sir Ben Kingsley and Jo Joyner from EastEnders as they opened the local Santa Charity Fun Run.

Most notably, I guest-presented a live radio feed for Hospital Radio Cherwell while abseiling down the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford to raise funds for cancer care units in the city. A recording of that momentous occasion still exists, somewhere…

I presented and produced the Friday Night Pulse for Banbury Internet Radio in 2011-2012, helping residents get ready for the weekend with great music, a pub and club call, gig guide, retro rewind and what’s on at the local cinema. I would regularly interview local music and acting talent, as part of the show.

Corporate Voice Overs

I have often been called upon to be the voice (and face) of social media updates, webinars and podcasts.

I presented the Duetto Pulse Report Live across social media from 2020 to 2022, delivering the latest performance statistics and insights on the global hotel industry, with guest presenters from our Hospitality Solutions team.

I co-presented the Duetto GameChangers podcast, alongside our CEO, David Woolenberg, and our Chief Revenue Officer, Chris Crowley.

I have also anchored webinars and hosted on-stage panel discussions.

Storytelling

I love telling stories to a young audience. When my daughter was young I would make up stories about her favourite teddies, Bear Bear and Baby Monkey. Check out The Adventures of Bear Bear & Baby Monkey on YouTube.

I also volunteered as a one-to-one reader and reading support assistant at my local primary. Reading is such an important skill for children to learn and I love watching when the words start to make sense and transport them to a different world.
