Germany Hotels Must Initiate Change to Stay Competitive

Tourism in Germany is on the up. In the first half of 2017, the country’s Federal Statistical Office registered 36.7 million international overnight stays, up 3% or an extra 1.2 million nights, on 2016 figures.

I caught up with Christopher Lueck, Press Officer of the German Hotel Association (IHA), to find out what the association is doing to promote growth, and how new technologies will change hotel operations and guest experiences in the future.
